Today I am chatting with Sara. Sara and I initially intended to chat about diabetes, yet this episode quickly turned into talking about something else. An intricate pathway which led Sara to where she is today has impacted her health and she openly and beautifully talks about it.     Beautiful skin starts from within, and this delicious smoothie can help. Full of vitamin C, Omega 3, greens and even a bit of natural silica, this nutritious and delicious smoothie can help your skin glow.
    Prep Time 5 minutes


    • A powerful blender
    • A large glass cup or Mason jar


    • 1 cup cold water
    • ½ cup pineapple frozen
    • 1 handful leafy greens of choice kale, spinach etc.
    • ½ cucumber
    • 1-2 cauliflower florets frozen
    • 1 tablespoon hemp seeds
    • 1-2 Medjool dates more if you prefer sweeter
    • 1 kiwi fruit peeled (optional)
    • ½ cup ice (optional)


    • Place all ingredients in a powerful blender in the order listed above. Blend thoroughly until smooth. Add more water if needed to your desired consistency.


    This smoothie is wonderful during a hot summer day. It is best consumed as soon as possible after prep to take the most advantage of its benefits.
